New favourite hiking pants !

I just got back from a 4 day wintery backpacking trip in the Rocky mountains. These pants held up so well ! My friends wore rain pants, I wore these with gaiters. They shed some rain, and when they did get wet, they dried so quickly ! They are so stretchy and comfy, and the flat belt is a bonus. They are bagging out a bit more than the cargo shorts I ordered in same size. I was able to wear base layers underneath, and think these could be a great shoulder season hiking pant. They are also light enough and breathable to wear in heat. I'm 5'6", around 170 lbs and the Large fits well!
I want these in every colour. I also think these would be great for field work (forestry or other ), and im seriously debating getting a second pair just for work.

Honestly, these are my snowpants

I LOVE THESE PANTS! I find them to be a bit much for summer recreating since I'm in poor shape and sweat easily as a result, but I've worn them for 3 years now for downhill and cross-country skiing (paired with a merino wool base layer underneath for insulation). They are waterproof enough for this purpose (I have fallen down many times and sat on a ski lift chair warmed by the sun and never gotten a wet butt). I can NEVER find snow pants in my size so these are honestly a godsend. I have gotten so much great winter use out of these pants! They're stretchy too, but still tough enough to be real hiking pants. And my god, the POCKETS! There are so many and nothing has fallen out of them yet. So functional, so comfortable, so versatile. Truly love.
I ordered an XL, which is my usual size from alder; I am 5'4" 220lbs.

Beautiful fit, stretchy, cute

Love these pants! They fit really well as someone who often struggles to find pants that fit both my thighs and waist. I’m 5’4” about 150lbs with lots of muscle. I have the take a hike shorts and they fit really similarly! I wear these climbing, hiking, in the city, on walks etc.. They’re truly good for anything.

Way more flattering than I expected and it's so easy to move in! Love hiking in them!

Finally

So nice to actually have a pair of pants that fit a woman’s body! Love the high waist and the proportions are perfect. Very comfortable.
