After Alder totally nailed it with the Open Air Pants, I had high hopes for these. I was seriously disappointed. Maybe some folks like the flared leg, but typically that style will get eaten right up by a pair of thighs that touch. In my experience, a taper toward the knee completely solves this problem. Maybe consider not making every pair of shorts with such a weird wide leg. Size inclusive brands should start taking things like that into consideration.

Comfortable and practical

These are cute and comfortable and they dry quickly. The front pockets are shallow so my phone falls out (same as with my Open Air pants). I also wish the legs were straighter and didn’t flare so much. Still, they’re practical for outdoor excursions.

My New Favourite Shorts!

I’ve hardly taken these shorts off since I got them. I have thicker thighs and I have so much trouble finding shorts that my thighs don’t gobble, but THESE ARE THE WINNERS. The 7” inseam is CLUTCH. They don’t ride up at all! I also love the stretch in the waistband. My waist tends to be smaller than my thighs/bum & because the waistband has so much stretch is hugs my waist nicely. As someone with an athletic pear-shaped body, these shorts are perfect. I have gotten many compliments on them too!
