We want you to love your alder clothes as much as we do! We're happy to offer the following windows for you to Exchange or Return your purchase. We are also happy to cover the cost of your return or exchange by providing a pre-paid return label.

Please note accessories (hats, waterbottles, totes, notebooks) are final sale.

Items labelled final sale are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

To make a return, please email us at hello@alderapparel.com with your name, order number (found in your confirmation email) and reason for return.

Any items sent back for return must follow the four U’s: unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and unaltered. We know that you need a quick try-on at home but please don’t take your piece for a spin out and about! Also make sure to include any original packaging, including all tags or dust bags, totes, boxes or any other items that came with when you send it back to us :). 

Note you have 45 days from the date of your purchase to return or exchange your garment. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and we will not cover any duties or customs associated with returning or exchanging your garment. 

Please note all returns are subject to a return fee:

$8.00 USD for all US orders
$10.00 USD for all Canadian orders

To make an exchange, please email us at hello@alderapparel.com with your name, order number (found in your confirmation email) and item you would like to exchange. Please make sure the item you want is in-stock online.

If you select a refund, we will issue your preference of either store credit or payment back to the credit card or PayPal account used to make the original purchase.

Any items purchased during a sale event that is 30% off or more is considered final sale and is not eligible for a return or exchange.

We set out to create outdoor products that last through many adventures – big and small! That’s why every alder product is covered by our Feel Good Guarantee. If one of our garments isn’t performing the way it should be, we are happy to repair or replace it. We want you to love and wear your alder garments for a long, long time <3.

Under our Feel Good Guarantee we guarantee that any manufacturing defects will be covered for life (aside from regular wear and tear, or obvious neglect or abuse of the garment). Reach out to us at hello@alderappare.com with your name and order number to apply for the alder feel good guarantee.

If your order used store credit as the sole payment method, that specific purchase can only be returned for store credit

If you purchased your alder from one of our stockists/retail partners or another location other than www.alderapparel.com - please contact the retailer directly for return or exchange instructions.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, and we will not cover any duties or customs associated with returning or exchanging your garment. 

Shipping your orders
Our warehouse is based in Canada. Orders take 1-2 business days to process before they are shipped. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number once your order has left our warehouse. Please note that changes to your order (size, colour, address) cannot be made after your order has been confirmed.

Please note any order placed after 12 PM EST on Friday or over the weekend will ship out the following Monday. We are unable to process orders on weekends or holidays (our team needs time to recharge too!)

When you pre-order items, you will see the est. delivery date listed on the product page, and on your order confirmation. Once we receive the item in our warehouse, we’ll ship them out in 1–2 business days and you will automatically receive a shipping notification :).
