Our Feel Good Guarantee
We set out to create outdoor products that last through many adventures – big and small! That’s why every alder product is covered by our Feel Good Guarantee. If one of our garments isn’t performing the way it should be, we are happy to repair or replace it. We want you to love and wear your alder garments for a long, long time <3.How long does the Feel Good Guarantee last?Our products are made from naturally sourced fibres, so they will break down over time with use just like everything else made by nature. But aside from regular wear and tear, or obvious neglect or abuse of the garment, we guarantee that any manufacturing defects will be covered for life.Does the Feel Good Guarantee apply to everything at alder?It doesn’t apply to giftcards, because those are valid forever anyway, but besides that – yes!How long will it take for me to get my replacement or repair credit?Our processing time is currently 5-6 weeks, owing to extended time needed to ship garments.** Shipping time for all products is currently delayed due to the impact of Covid-19.How does the Feel Good Guarantee work?If you suspect your item may be defective, send us an email at:hello@alderapparel.comIncluding your order number, the item name, and a picture or two of the defective item helps speed the process along. :)alder will be happy to offer either a repair credit or a replacement item at our discretion based on our analysis of the defect. Items that alder determines show normal wear and tear, or damage due to neglect and abuse, will not be eligible for replacement, but we’ll do our best to make a repair credit happen where possible.Items purchased over a year before showing defects must be laundered appropriately and returned to us through a trackable mail service. (Unfortunately, alder cannot replace items that are lost in transit.) For items purchased within a year, alder will cover shipping expenses.Not sure if it’s “regular wear and tear” or a defect?When in doubt, try us out! We want everyone to love their alder wear.
